The Trustees and staff are proud to announce that our CEO Janet Matthewson has been awarded the Covid-19 Inspirational Person award at the recent 2020 Community Awards held by The Barnet Group. Awarded in recognition of her and the organisations work throughout the Covid-19 pandemic in supporting the Community including the Children and Young People who are at the heart of everything we do.

On hearing of her success, Janet Matthewson said "Covid has been such a testing time for so many and it has been inspirational to see so much great work happening across our borough to support our most vulnerable residents. Thank you for this award, which I accept on behalf of our collective efforts within the partnership, my staff team, Barnet Together, Barnet Multi-Faith Partnership, our strategic partners and all our amazing community groups. Too long a list to mention everyone! Congratulations to all the nominees and winners. We, as a Borough, are lucky to have so many Generous Leaders to help guide us through the current crisis."

We thank The Barnet Group and their sponsors for recogonising Janet, the other winners and all the nominees for their contribution to Barnet.
