Overview:
Thanks to a generous private donation and funding from the Barnet Recreational Trust, Members working on the Grahame Park Estate were invited to apply for a maximum of £3,000 per project for projects which empower Young People by involving them in meaningful community projects as well as strengthening bonds across the Grahame Park community.
This was a by invitation only round of funding. Panel meetings to decide the successful applicants took place on the 8th and 30th April 2025.

Awards
Following the panel meetings which took place on 8th and 30th April 2025, Young Barnet Foundation are pleased to be able to announce that they are able to fund or part fund the following four projects:

Organisation Name: Fun Unique Social Enterprise C.I.C
Amount: £3,000
Project Description: Provision of Social Inclusion Football Weekly between June and August on the Grahame Park Estate.

Organisation Name: Centre of Excellence
Amount: £3,000
Project Description: Provision of girls football sessions for 13 weeks at Saracen’s Astro turf pitch. Includes supporting young leaders to gain Level 1&2 Football Coaching qualifications.

Organisation Name: Youth Realities
Amount: £3,000
Project Description: Provision of Health and wellbeing activities for young women and girls, delivered in Barnet for individuals who have experience of relationship abuse or are deemed at risk of being in one.

Organisation Name: OYA Organisation of Young Africans
Amount: £2,800
Project Description: Provision of funding to assist Children and Young people to decorate new premises for the organisation, including access to professional guidance and advice to help older teens learn life skills in decorating.
