Back to School Campaign 2026
Every child deserves to start the new school year feeling prepared, confident and ready to learn.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, Young Barnet Foundation's Back to School Campaign 2026 delivered 407 essential stationery packs to pupils across 12 schools in Barnet, helping to ease the financial pressure on families as children prepare for secondary school.
Each pack included everyday classroom essentials such as pens, pencils, rulers, highlighters and coloured pencils, with many also containing calculators, geometry sets, pencil cases or notebooks.

We're also incredibly grateful to the many members of the public who donated items through our Amazon Wishlist — every single gift made a real difference to a child in Barnet.

We’re excited to share the launch of Young Barnet Foundation’s Back to School Campaign, created to support Year 6 pupils across Barnet as they transition into secondary school this September.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive equipment packs tailored to the needs of secondary school students, easing the financial pressure on families who are already struggling with the rising cost of living.
We’ve identified primary schools in Barnet with the highest percentage of pupils receiving Free School Meals (FSM) and will be distributing these essential packs to children who need them most.
How You Can Help
It’s simple — just purchase an item from our Amazon Wishlist which can be accessed here:

You can support in a way that suits you – whether it’s a small essential or a larger bundle. For example, you could donate a Helix Oxford Maths Set for around £4, a pack of erasable pens for £6.79, or glue sticks for £9.99. You might also choose a bulk item like highlighters (£12.19) or a pack of 50 pencils (£11.09) to support multiple children. Every item you give helps make sure a child in Barnet starts the school year prepared and confident.
Every donation helps.
The more items we receive, the more children we can support.
If you'd like to go even further, why not fundraise for us, or offer a service where participants can donate to the campaign? Please get in touch with our fundraising team as they would be happy to offer ideas and support.
