COMMUNITY PARTNERS MEMBERSHIP

​

Community Partners are stakeholders that wish to support the Young Barnet Foundation, its aims, mission and values.  These could be larger VCFSE organisations, outside the membership criteria, statutory service partners (Local Authority, Police, Health etc) or larger not for profit organisations (eg. housing associations) but also businesses, funders, members of our strategic development group or Grant Funding Panel.

REQUIREMENTS 

​

If you are a business you can apply to be a Young Barnet Foundation business partner. To apply to be a YBF strategic partner you will need to be a:

​

  • Local stakeholder e.g. from the statutory services, (LA, Health, Police).

  • Housing association.

  • National umbrella organisation (supporting charities in Barnet, but not delivering).

  • Funder – Trust and Foundations.

  • Local and national political representatives.

YBF ARE COMMITTED TO WORKING WITH PARTNERS TO: 

​

  • Develop strong local support for local VCFSE organisations within the community and statutory partners.

  • Develop a strong, trained network of youth leaders.  

  • Develop an online platform for shared venue / delivery space.

  • Support capacity building of the sector.

  • Access national initiatives to enhance local VCFSE delivery. 

  • Explore development opportunities that will support the local VCFSE.

ALL PARTNERS ARE ASKED ARE ASKED TO: 

​

  • Help develop strong local support for YBF /local VCFSE organisations within the wider community.

  • Galvanise wider strategic support

  • Share developments from the Young Barnet Foundation and the local CYP sector.

  • Contribute to local fundraising initiatives to grow the S2G fund.

  • As a partner, think creatively to helping to build capacity within the sector.

STRATEGIC PARTNERS ARE ASKED TO:

​

  • Help to explore and implement change that will support the wider CYP VCFSE and its delivery.

  • Supporting the S2G fund (where possible) eg match funding/identifying funding to support thematic strands to meet emerging needs/strategic targets, for example to grow:

       · diversionary activities to help address, crime and anti-social behaviour.

       · diversionary activities to promote all aspects of health and to promote healthy lifestyles.

       · activities to reduce CYP isolation and address wellbeing.

       · Help improve pathways of support from the local business community to the local VCFSE
