Space2Grow#13 - School Holiday Food Grant Fund

Young Barnet Foundation were pleased to be able to assist in the distribution of grants to charities and community organisations that are delivering activities and services to disadvantaged children and young people. The fund was to support food provision during October half-term (26th - 30th October 2020) within the London Borough of Barnet.

Total Amount Available to Award: £50,000.00*

Maximum any one award: £3 per person per day.

Independent Panel Meeting: Not Applicable. Verification will be confirmed by Young Barnet CEO and other senior staff.

Awards Announced and payment made : within 2 working days of application.

Total Amount Awarded: £6,759.00**

*Unused funding will be used during future school holiday periods. ** Due to the short notice to process and publicise this support take up was less than expected.

Purchase food
Provide food parcel or provide hot/cold meals

Criteria:

5-18 year olds
Young people at risk of food insecurity/holiday hunger
Barnet residents
£3 per child, per day
