Thursday 11th April 2019 saw 18 members of the Barnet squad from the 2004/05 Football Conference championship winners, along with manager Paul Fairclough, reunite for the first time since their successful season at Arts Depot, Finchley for a Q&E Evening in aid of Young Barnet Foundation.

Led by Young Barnet Foundation ambassador Giuliano Grazioli and compèred by actor and writer Tom Watt, the 150 strong crowd we regaled with tales of the magical season for Barnet FC fans.

The players were joined on stage for the evening by 'special guest' the Noel Kelly Championship Trophy, which has been borrowed for the event from the National Football Museum with thanks to the National League.

Thanks to the generosity of the attendees, including a successful auction and raffle, the prizes of which were all 2004/05 champions related, Young Barnet Foundation raised in excess of £3,700*

Young Barnet Foundation express their sincere thanks to the ex playing squad for attending, their stories of an unforgettable season made for an unforgettable evening.  The thanks is extended to Tom Watt for guiding the audience through the story of the season.

Young Barnet Foundation CEO Janet Matthewson said of the event "I thank each and everyone of you who turned up to support this event, I can truly say everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.   I hope those who attended learnt about the needs of our local charities and the work they are doing in our communities"
